Atrophic gastritis, also known as chronic atrophic gastritis, is a chronic digestive disease characterized by atrophy of the gastric mucosal epithelium and glands. In this disease, the gastric mucosa is thinned and the mucosal basal layer is thickened, which may be accompanied by pyloric glandular chemosis and intestinal glandular chemosis, or by atypical hyperplasia. We have established a stable model of sodium deoxycholate (DOC-Na) + ammonia + indomethacin-induced atrophic gastritis, which is suitable for the study of drugs for preclinical atrophic gastritis and the evaluation of new drugs.
