Acute lung injury (ALI) is an acute hypoxic respiratory insufficiency caused by damage to alveolar epithelial cells and capillary endothelial cells due to various direct and indirect injury-causing factors, resulting in diffuse interstitial and alveolar edema.
We developed a stable lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced acute lung injury model and a bleomycin (BLM)-induced acute lung injury model, which are suitable for the study of drugs with preclinical acute lung injury and the evaluation of new drugs.
